Confirmed from Riverview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park where visitors can walk and run, with ample parking.
What runners say about Riverview Park
“Nice clean trails and option to walk along the San Gabriel River path.”
It's basically just a giant walkway/field. Good for running, walking, or playing catch with a friend or something.
It’s ok for what it is: a long pathway that loops. Good for long walks with dog. It is not maintained well but it does feel safe. Be aware that coyotes are seen here frequently. I’ve also seen a family of skunks scurrying along and then under a wall that separates the park from neighboring houses
Always a chill place to go to for a walk by yourself or dog and play some sports or to take the kids out soccer and football are good to play here or jogging or running or training

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
