Confirmed from Sycamore Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking, biking & horseback-riding trails on 775 acres with varied wildlife, a creek & valley views.

Beautiful park with long walking trails, many trails, wide open fields, trees, a lot of wildlife including birds. Also a great place to see autumn foliage even during December. A great place for a walk to relax in nature.
Sycamore is a great local park for getting out with family and friends for a relaxing stroll on the outskirts of Livermore. On moderate weather days, some great wildlife shots can be gathered. I went on a day when by 10:30am we had 100* weather so everything was hiding in shade.
This park is alive... just close your eyes and listen; you'll hear a variety of birds and rustling sounds, along with the humming undercurrent of life all around. It features great trails for walking or cycling with benches scattered throughout. Lots of gnarly trees for photo ops.
I love this park and feel very lucky to live close enough to able to go whenever I want. The main trail is 2.5 miles from entrance to entrance and has beautiful views. $5 parking pass required at the parking lot booth and allows you to purchase for multiple days in advance.
