Confirmed from Robinson Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve with hiking & biking trails, picnic areas, a boat launch & observation platforms.

I spent the afternoon exploring Robinson Preserve after spending the morning at Perico Preserve and it felt like stepping into a wide open world of sky, water, and wild Florida landscape.
We came here to run and walk and it was way better than I anticipated. The photos I saw beforehand made it seem a bit lackluster but we were pleasantly surprised! The trails are nicely kept; and the overall vibe of the place is peaceful.
This place has a little something for everyone! The main trails are well maintained, but some of the side paths can be a bit less so. Regardless, the environment and variety of activities are second to none in the area. Just be warned, if you stay past sunset you will be chased out of the park.
Really cool. The water and trails are very well marked and it is beautiful. You’re going to see a lot of wildlife. I also have places for you to wash your boards or kayaks and lots of bike pads and maps. It’s really incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend! Five stars

“There are several parking lots and the one by the canopy building seems like the easiest way to get to the walk amongst the mangroves.”
“This is one of a few places that allow dogs, so we have been using it each morning for our daily walk during our vacation.”
“I walked in from the Perico side, so I did not see a restroom, but I revisited a few weeks later and parked at the north entrance and their restrooms there .”
“We walked the long way and it was a nice gravel path with little shade.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
