Confirmed from Rocky Brook Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Rocky Brook Trail
“What a wonderful surprise this trail was for us and a perfect setting for a beautiful birthday hike.”
What a wonderful surprise this trail was for us and a perfect setting for a beautiful birthday hike. You can not tackle this one if you have trouble walking. It is part path and part rock. The path is narrow and weaves through high grasses and such. You may wish to wear long pants and perhaps a bit of bug spray.
Beautiful hike, often referred to locally as "Facci's Kingdom" or "Facci's House"... The first time we tried this trail, we discovered that there were actually no bridges across the streams -- only stepping stones! And right after the rain, the stones are under-water.
Nice little trail. About 1.5miles one way but if you decide to go here a day or so after rain I'd highly recommend to wear waterproof boots.
Beautiful trail along a nice creek with a small waterfall or two. About 3 miles to the end and back.
