Confirmed from Roswell Greenway Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved, mostly flat trail with some shaded spots, for walking and biking and hiking.
What runners say about Roswell Greenway Trailhead
“The paved trail is beautiful with lots of marshes and wildlife along the way - plenty of bike stations if you need to make a minor repair along the way.”
“Also mostly shaded although some portion not covered and hot during summer noon time but that can be expected.”
I parked in the lot near Old Alabama Rd and the walking and biking trail entances to the woods were right there. I walked and the trail was easy. I did the forest trail in 30 minutes. When I exited the trail it put me on a wide paved path.
Seems like the closer you get to Roswell, the cooler the trails get! And this is probably my favorite stretch of the Greenway. Found a nature trail behind the Mansell shopping center that isn't listed on Google Maps. Great place for an afternoon walk.
Beautiful trail! Being surrounded by tall trees and seeing lots of deer along the way, couldn’t have asked for a better run while visiting
This is a great place to hop on the greenway and ride all the way out to Alpharetta (8 miles), and even further to the halcyon (12 miles). The paved trail is beautiful with lots of marshes and wildlife along the way - plenty of bike stations if you need to make a minor repair along the way.
