Confirmed from Saluda Shoals' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is awesome. We are on our second annual pass. It has a lot of flat paths for walking running or biking . It has a dog park, or you can just walk your dog on a leash. The paths are set through the bush with views of brooks, and a river that meander through the park.

Today was my first time at Saluda Shoals park and I have to say that the new playground is absolutely beautiful. I love the turf so kids can be safe and as care free to able to just worry about playing ( which should be every kids only responsibility). My daughter had a blast running up and down the ramp.

We have been coming here over the years, and we always come back to fish, to hike, to play, or just enjoy nature. We love this place so much we got a seasons pass. Told the in-laws to buy us this as a Christmas gift for us all. Best gift to us always.

This is a beautiful park. I went because of the walking trails and dog park, however there appears to be many other seasonal activities. Part of the park abuts the Saluda River providing opportunities for fishing, tubing, and kayaking. There is also a water spray park for young children I only walked one of the trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
