Confirmed from Sandusky's Lions Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I have been coming here for the past 3 months to do my daily walks toward my physical therapy. The bathrooms are cleaned every morning and the pic nic areas are always clean, as well. It is always so peaceful and beautiful here. Here are just a couple of my favorite pics I took on 1 of my visits.

B.E.A.UTIFUL. The splash pad is great- kids can play and get wet, adults can sit on nearby benches and watch. Incredible playground for all ages, swings include a Mommy and me swing and a handicap friendly one as well. Lots of open grass, but it's often wet here, watch where you walk!

This is a medium-sized park that has much to offer. It is well maintained, has restrooms, plenty of parking, shelter house, new playground and splash pad paved walking path, scenic views of Lake Erie and small beach where you can swim although there isn't any lifeguards. A sign says you can swim but at your own risk.

Always a great place to visit. Terrific walking area... What for geese droppings! Nice and clean water pad when operating. They have 2 shelters that can be rented out. Come see how far the water has dropped. 11/12/25

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
