Confirmed from Sandy Ridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Fenced children's playground and BMX track, plus baseball and softball fields at a park.
What runners say about Sandy Ridge Park
“This park was very nice very clean big playground area for kids and it's gated tennis courts and softball fields and a dirt bike track/course”
We love the cute gated playground options here. They have nice walking trail options as well. Bathrooms can sometimes be locked which is an inconvenience for people like us with kids. The park is maintained well and clean
This is a nice park, not a lot of shade. The coolest feature is the bike track! Some of the cleaner park bathrooms I've been in.
Nice park with softball fields, bike dirt track, and short walking trail. There's also a great play area with swings for kids.
Good park for walking, bmx riding, baseball, playground area, etc. Clean

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
