Confirmed from Sans Souci County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sans Souci County Park
“Sans in a well-maintained park with nice trails spreading throughout the park complex.”
“Wooded trails, waterways, easy walks and dog friendly.”
“Dog friendly and others you meet along the way are conscious with their dogs and are always willing to say hello.”
Very nice park. You can take your dog as long as you keep it on a leash and clean up after it. We went on a Sunday morning at 10am and saw about 12 other people throughout our walk which lasted about 30 minutes. There are a lot of trails so we tried to stay on the main ones but you can definitely explore.
A little smaller than I expected but it was a nice walk in the woods. Seems more of a mountain bike trails than hiking
My family and I absolutely love this park. Always go here to get away from the Long Island hecticness and get some fresh air. Just a few short feet onto the trail leaves you completely immersed in the woods and listening to the sounds of nature.
Good place for MTN biking, lots of fun trails. Wash outs, berms and the occasional wooden structures over streams. Some uphill climbing that's worth it when you find the downhill deer trails. Recommend checking out.
