Confirmed from Sans Souci State Recreational Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Rode a biki from Waikiki on Kalakaua and discovered this park. It has a great little boardwalk by the beach for a nice stroll or bike ride. Beautiful sunsets, great ocean views, and a cute little cafe with live music in the evenings makes such a wonderful way to end the day. It's really nice here, a lot more quiet.

I was born by a river, oh man, in this little old tent, oh Just like this river, I've been running ever since It's been a long, long time coming But I know, but I know, a change is gotta come Ooo yes it is Oh my, oh my, oh my, oh my It's been too hard living, oh my And I'm afraid to die I don't know what's up there…

Beautiful walking paths that take you winding by parks, houses, cute little beach side restaurants and boutique hotels. You can set up camp to have a party, be a yogini and do some meditation or read a book what ever you heart desires.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 17 mentions

“The water was a bit murky when I went a few weeks ago, but the view of Waikiki is awesome and quite frankly, any day at the beach is better than a day at work!”
