Confirmed from Saratoga Ridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-maintained park offering playgrounds, pickleball courts and a dog park plus benches, swings and slides.
What runners say about Saratoga Ridge Park
“The park is well maintained and clean, the courts are set-up for pickleball and the playground part is good for little kids to play at.”
Finally open! Very large area for your family fur babies to run. There is plenty of grass, sidewalks, and play areas. Running water fountain for humans and pets. I like the pet bowl! Clean up after yourself and your pets, please!
UPDATE: 10/1/2023 - The dog park is finally open and it is nice. Two things need addressed. 1) why did we put sections of smooth river stone in a space for dogs?
The roads aren't fully connected to it so it's a little difficult to get there by bike, but if you are driving there it is quite easy. The park is well maintained and clean, the courts are set-up for pickleball and the playground part is good for little kids to play at.
Great park! Can be crazy windy and would suggest coming back another day. Lots of play area. 4 pickleball court. Very large grass area and there is also a dog park, which is THE BEST dog park in the area.
Trail conditions & character
“Great dog park, two pickle ball courts, a covered pavilion, nice playground, lots of walking trails, and some wide open grassy areas perfect for sports.”
“It has swings and two play structures, plenty of benches, a bathroom, and a pickleball court.”
“There is also an awesome walk up the hill in the parking lot that you can see all of Utah County and when really clear air you can see up to Salt Lake.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
