Confirmed from Sarg Hubbard Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly park featuring grassy lawns, playgrounds and lakes.
What runners say about Sarg Hubbard Park
“Such a beautiful fall day all of the colors changing, Park is very well maintained.”
“I feel very safe walking here and the others have been respectful of dogs walking.”
One of my favorite paved trails in Yakima! It’s right in town but takes you along a wide paved path with water along the way. The view of the mountains are perfect. I feel very safe walking here and the others have been respectful of dogs walking. This trail goes to the Arboretum so you can walk and visit that as well!
Nice park and next to the trail. Great place for kids to play, go fishing, or picnic. Workout stations around the park is encouraging for health and fitness. My dog loves it here as well.
Parked here for a nice bike ride on the Yakima Greenway. Rode 17 miles north into a bit of a headwind to Naches, gaining over 400' of elevation. The ride home was effortless with the downhill tailwind, and we were delighted to find that our car still had a catalytic converter. The ride along the Yakima was pretty.
Such a beautiful fall day all of the colors changing, Park is very well maintained. The playground is in good condition kids are having a blast running around playing. Everyone else walking is so polite, just out enjoying the beautiful weather.

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
