Beautiful wetland views, lots of shade in the beginning. Tons of flowers blooming and birds and wildlife. Best for morning or late afternoon as the meat of the hike is in direct sun. Varied trail and a great little escape in Jensen Beach.
5:29:25 stopped by on our drive to Fort Lauderdale did a small hike with the dog, saw a turtle as well! Some shaded areas. Starting off to the left is easier, going to the right gets you to the water quicker.
Short (.8 mile) sandy trail through natural Florida in Savannas State Park. Kestrel, scrub Jay and other birds. Everything in its natural state and not at all crowded on a weekday morning.
