Confirmed from Schweitzer Grove Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxing park featuring green grass in the spring and benches, plus a network of footpaths.
What runners say about Schweitzer Grove Nature Area
“It has a nice little creek and lots of beautiful oak and eucalyptus trees.”
“Peace and quiet in the middle of the burbs and there’s a creek that runs through.”
A nice nature Grove to walk through and explore. There is a small drainage creek that runs through that has frogs in the springtime. My kids love building shelters, waking the trails, and hunting for frogs here. This is a great place.
Really pretty spot for a short walk. Total about 20 min around the whole grove. Longer if you explore every trail and poke around near the tiny stream or walk amongst the trees. Lovely in the spring time.
Great walking trails. Beware in late spring- foxtail overgrowth makes for a risky walk with your dog.
The grove is beautiful! I have spent so much time here. There is a walking trail, benches to sit on and relax. It has a little creek that runs through it. It is a great place to go to and escape.
