Confirmed from Scranton Flats' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It's well maintained, clean, and generally a nice place to send an afternoon walk.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Nice paved walkways and some hill action to get a decent walk and great view of the city bridge lights.”

What a great trail for a walk about! We seen kayaking in the Cuyahoga river, cycling, runners and walkers enjoying the afternoon. The Eagle Lift Bridge was the first lift bridge built in 1928 and completed in 1931! No longer in use its still a historic location for the heart of Cleveland!

Who would have thought 20 years ago how pleasant it would be walking along the shore of the Cuyahoga River. The wildlife is flourishing along the banks of the river.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 13 mentions

“Fun fact the house next door was the generals house back in the colonial war because it overlooked the valley and river.”
