Confirmed from Sebago to the Sea Trail Section 1's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sebago to the Sea Trail Section 1
It is an easy trail that leads to a secluded and absolutely gorgeous beach. It's a nature reserve, and you need to fill out a permit and leave one of the copies in a car window. The trail leads past a family cemetery of the former land owners, some of the grave markers dating back to the revolutionary war.
Oh man! Best kept secret of Sebago...quiet little swimming "hole" at the trail end... I went on July 4th. Not alot of people but all very friendly. I brought my dog who loved the swim after a short hike in the woods. Not alot of traffic on the trails. Clean small beach area! White fine sand and clear warm water...
A secluded beach at the end of a trail which takes a little effort reach. Look for the grave of a revolutionary war hero and his wife alone the way.
Great trail! For any outdoor enthusiasts. Wasn’t too busy but definitely a used trail system. Recommend for anyone looking for a great hike that is not to difficult.
