Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“it felt really calm and green and just what I needed to forget about everything for a bit.”

Absolutely gorgeous hikes/walks. The trails can be a bit steep, so be prepared! We are pretty out of shape but managed just fine. Saw many bird species, the highlights being: ruby-crowned kinglet, golden-crowned kinglet, chestnut-backed chickadee, great horned owl. Very clean trails and well maintained park overall.

This is a great outdoor resource for Sonoma County. The trails are excellent as is the scenery. There are excellent views and it provides habitat for numerous species. Unfortunately, there is one trail that has not yet been built. Apparently a bridge needs to be constructed.

One of our favorite hiking places in Sonoma County. It can be challenging or more laid back, it's your choice. We like the steep hills that make us breathe hard, and give our legs a great workout. Plenty of shade and the views are phenomenal.

Shiloh ranch is a really nice park. It has many nice hiking trails. No dogs allowed in this park because of the horses on the trails. I love the creek trail early in the morning.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
