Informative way markers describe local wildlife. The parking lot is ample and there is a portable toilet. You can see dramatic water level changes with the tides. A walk-up boat ramp gives easy access to kayakers. We saw ospreys and Kingfishers during our walk around the easy loop trail.
OMG, this is a must do ! It's a beautiful 1 1/2 mile walk, bench halfway to rest if you need it. Beautiful walk, stop and read signs about the wildlife there. No dogs allowed 😔 but It is a must do for everyone 🙂
I don't know when they built this out but it's nice. A little parking lot with signs about the local nature preserve and some of its inhabitants. It was raining a bit but I was still able to walk around for a few minutes and spot 8 different bird species while walking along the paths.
Amazing fishing spots. Great bird watching, all year. Several eagle pairs in the area. Red tails as well. Kayak access is awesome with a short walk. No dogs, and lots of old ladies that won’t shut up about it.
