Confirmed from Silva Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Silva Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (261 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 13 mentions

“Bathroom was accessible and reasonably clean, and the trashcans were quite tidy around it, appearing to be quite well maintained across the board.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“A beautiful, well-maintained community park with basketball courts, picnic tables, and a walking path.”

I've seen pictures of how the park is basically a "bowl of grass", but they don't do it justice on how steep it really is. This alone makes it a nice place to do exercises and walk your dog. Very tempting to get down and roll of the hill.

We very much enjoy Silva park. The play area for the kids is clean and well kept. We like walking around the park for exercise and even walking up and down the grassy hill area for more exercise. The bathrooms they put in are very clean and well kept. Plenty of area to shoot hoops also. This is a very nice park.

This park is nice! It features 2 half basketball courts, a gazebo with lots of picnic tables, grills, a smaller children's playground and one for bigger kids. Bathrooms are cleaned every evening, locked around 6 PM.

A beautiful, well-maintained community park with basketball courts, picnic tables, and a walking path. Our favorite place to walk our dog when visiting family.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
