Confirmed from Silver Comet Trailhead and Kid's Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Silver Comet Trailhead and Kid's Park
“Clean , safe spot to exercise or spend the day outside”
Nice little park for kids right next to the silver comet trail. It's got 2 separate structures, one thats taller and a smaller one for younger kids. The smaller one has astroturf, which I feel helps in keeping mosquitos away. The restrooms could be a cleaner but it's a public restroom so don't expect much.
Great party for the kids (and grandchildren!) Lots to do for activities and a well stocked juice/snack center. Good spot to get on the Silver Comet Trail to go to Smyrna (12 miles away) or Dallas (9 miles away.)
Really convenient on the bike trail! Love the atmosphere and the park is huge with a skateboard park not too far down. There’s also food for purchase and a covered seating area with surrounding picnic tables as well!
