Confirmed from Silver Comet Trail - Linear Park Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Parking lot on the Silver Comet Trail with a restroom and playground.
What runners say about Silver Comet Trail - Linear Park Trailhead
“Great playground for the kids and largely shaded but not shaded over the benches where the adults sit.”
What can I say, it's the beginning trailhead for the Silver Comet Bike trail. Its actually decent compared to most and has restroom for your needs before you dissapear on a long 4 to 8 hour bike ride. Security is minor so make sure you hide your valuables before leaving the car alone for hours at a time.
This is my favorite bike trail to ride in Georgia. I absolutely recommend it for joggers, walkers and cyclists. It is so popular a spot that depending on when and where you start on the trail you may encounter much people traffic. It is still an awesome trail.
Great place to park while riding on the Silver Comet trail. It has a playground n bathroom. It is close to Plubix shopping center if you need any snacks or drinks
Excellent access point to the Silver Comet Trail. One of the best repurposed 'rail to trail' routes in the U.S. Ride on!
