Confirmed from Silver Springs Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Silver Springs Conservation Area
“Absolutely gorgeous, and I mean GORGEOUS trail, but it is so incredibly easy to get lost due to a bit of overgrowth.”
“Qe brought our leash cat and he had a great time running around checking everything out.”
“Was 95 degrees out, but with plenty of water and plenty of shade and benches along the trails to rest it was a good overall experience.”
“This is such a cool place to go for an easy walk/hike.”
“Whether you're jogging, walking or just want to take your dog for a quick walk these trails offer a little something for everyone.”
We've been a few times and seen several exciting fauna. Huge owl, adult diamondback, woodpeckers galore and deer. No map that I remember. Trails marked clearly throughout. Scenery is all very similar except a dried out marshy area found by walking down a service road on the east side.
Nice quiet walking trails, hidden gem is well maintained and not crowded. We had a hawk land abour 10 feet from us and dig at the ground. Qe brought our leash cat and he had a great time running around checking everything out.
This is such a cool place to go for an easy walk/hike. I’ve seen hawks, deer and or course squirrels. The outside loop is a outlet bit over 2 miles and is good for walking or running.
There's a great set of trails to walk with a few picnic tables along the way. My only complaint is that there is not 1 map to be found of this area, even on the trailhead board. Our first walk took over 2 hours because we had no ide idea which way to turn to stay on a short trail.
