Confirmed from Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a great place to go and spend a day with the family. There are two main beaches for swimming and laying out in the sun. There is also boating, sea dooin, clean bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, camping, some bbq's available but most people bring their own.

This is our first time coming here! What a wonderful gem of a State Park! The staff checking us in was very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms are clean and in good working order. Be sure to bring quarters for the showers! $2 will get you four minutes of shower time.

This place was amazing. I was very hesitant at first, because I went to Lake Gregory and they told me there was no swimming in that lake, so we came to Silverwood. It was perfect 👌 the lake is big and there are many benches to choose from. Some were near the shore, others were very secluded & romantic.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
