Confirmed from Snoqualmie Lake/Taylor River Trail #1002's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking trail with waterfalls and river crossings, and views of the Taylor River.
What runners say about Snoqualmie Lake/Taylor River Trail #1002
“I have only been to big creek falls and back, but it is a well maintained, easy gradient trail.”
“Big Creek Falls is a must see it was do stunning.”
“It's a relatively easy trail, and a couple of creek crossings added a little bit excitement to it.”
This is the hike to take to get to Otter Falls. A long but moderate hike, had to cross about 4 streams of water. Highly recommend.
Hard to drive to. The Taylor river regularly washes out the bridge. Check with the forest service before going. Hike is long but easy. The trail is well maintained. Many places to camp.
Beautiful journey and marvelous destination. Keep driving all the way to the end of Middle Fork Road. From what we could tell, this is the last hike available before the road is block. The drive is mostly paved with only the last portion dirt/gravel with a dozen or more potholes.
We only we t to Otter Falls a d Big Creek Falls. The trail is an old loving trail. We had the best weather and the best time. 3 river crossings, don't be afraid of getting your feet wet. That was the safest way to go and we had a blast. Big Creek Falls is a must see it was do stunning.
