Confirmed from Middle Fork Snoqualmie Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lush, scenic hiking and camping area featuring a riverside trail as well as a bridge.
What runners say about Middle Fork Snoqualmie Trailhead
“The beautiful bridge is so close to the parking g lot that this would be a nice trip for kids to enjoy the view.”
“Muddy in some places upgrading easy hike to moderate(-).”
Beautiful area - to just hang out and have a picnic, or to take off on a long hike. I found a lovely spot by the river and created this 11”x14” oil on panel painting - I’ll finish it in the studio and post it to JonBradham.com.
We did stegosaurus butte and some of Snoqualmie middle fork. The butte trail is just a boot path, you can get a few nice view points from the top. This is pretty steep, coming down is an adventure 😜 Middle fork trail was nice with gradual inclines.
The beautiful bridge is so close to the parking g lot that this would be a nice trip for kids to enjoy the view. You also have a choice to go further if your into hiking. I would go here again just to enjoy nature. There's so many trails to choose from but I recommend going early in the am cuz the parking fill up fast.
Lots of parking, nice new road, trailhead bathrooms, and long trails with options for connections. Do check trail conditions before coming, as washouts do occur. National Forest Pass is required, and be aware this is different than nearby hikes like Mailbox (which needs the state Discover Pass instead).

“You now have the option to stay on middle fork Snoqualmie trail or also go on the newer Pratt River connector trail which is more kid friendly and has lesser elevation gain.”
“The bathroom is just 1 stall though, you are better off with the other bathroom stalls before this trailhead from the forest road.”
“Parking and road to the trail were easy too: Paved the whole way driving.”
“The beginning of the trail is pretty easy and flat, good with kids too.”
