An amazingly beautiful place with a fun variety of hikes and beautiful campgrounds. It's got something for everyone and provides such a cool glimpse of what Southern Utah has to offer in an incredibly accessible manner.
This state park is often overshadowed by all of the other big National Parks in this area, but it's totally worth a stop if you're in the area. The landscape diversity is great for such a small area.
Took a bike ride through the canyon. Gorgeous scenery. Perfect weather in April. We parked at Tawa Ponds trailhead and ride from there. We have e bikes and the ride was quite easy using only about 10% better.
Nature did an amazing job of arranging rocks and mountains in a really awesome way from an ancient volcanic eruption. The Utah Parks and Recreation had regular places where you can park your vehicle with little signs telling you about the trails available and the scenic areas in front.

“The parking can be pretty hard to find so be sure to go early enough that you can do the trails you want to do before it gets too packed.”
