Confirmed from South Ogden Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Walking paths & splash pad attract visitors to this grassy area with a playground & picnic shelter.
What runners say about South Ogden Nature Park
“Always enjoy our visit to this nice, clean water park.”
“It is also next to a scenic walk around a nature center if you want to try to put the kids in a stroller and have them take a nap after playing.”
“Basically no shade on the trail- there is a covered pavilion at the park area though.”
South Ogden Nature Park was fun. There's 2 playgrounds (1 for older kids and 1 for younger) and a splash pad. There's a few benches around the edges of the playgrounds and the splash pad. The paved trail is a loop, with a few paved and unpaved/dirt offshoots to explore.
Nice paved walking trails and some unpaved, best level access to trails is near the playground. Maybe the restrooms are by the playground?
Awesome park. Had a fundraiser "Toris story" Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Momentum (BHG Gives) put on a 5k race to raise money for 10 yro Tori fighting cancer. This was such a great spot. We definitely will be doing more event here. Park was super clean, trails were super clean.
Beautiful park, well-kept path. It's not too steep or hard to walk, so it's good for beginners. Pretty views & offers glimpses of native wildlife.
