Confirmed from WSU Discovery Loop Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about WSU Discovery Loop Trailhead
“Absolutely gorgeous view, well worth the hike.”
“I love this trail ! my team used to run it every Saturday and it was lovely!”
Great trail system to start your hike from. We'll traveled enough to navigate easily, but not too busy. Amazing views and it ties into the shoreline trail and all the local canyon hikes. We traveled north to the waterfall canyon trail and had a great time.
I love this trail ! my team used to run it every Saturday and it was lovely! good hike for family's, friends, and aquantances! nice vegetation along the trail!
This was a nice hike. It was an easy hike up to the shoreline, then from there it was a leisurely walk along the trail. It is such a beautiful viewpoint!
A great hike or biking spot to get out of the city, but it's right in your back yard.
