Confirmed from South Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
South Park County's 1,999-acre park offers sports, a wave pool, trails & a tourable old farmhouse.
What runners say about South Park
“We love spending weekend here, very clean and huge park.”
“There are SO many covered picnic shelters, a beautiful pond area with a gazebo, fitness trails and a dog park.”
The 2 roads we were on, and the police horses we saw were a delight. We wanted to just find a place to sit and grab some sliced fruit from Giant Eagle on the way in. Sat under the older shelter that was walking distance from the parking area there. It was a really nice afternoon and we will definitely be back.
I hike in south park almost everyday It is a fantastic place, a criss cross of paths shared by all. a must see is the vale of cashmere, may also get to the montour trail there, notice the solar lights they are putting up, and the long planned upgrade of the cascades by Miller house, covered coves with grills and…
Excellent walking trail (and running, biking, pickleball, tennis, playgrounds)….so much more!!
What a beautiful and huge park! We did a 5k here while in town. Wish we could have seen more of the park. Lots of parking options and playgrounds for kids. Looks like there were lots of walking paths or trails too.
