Confirmed from Prax Orive Jr. (Sunrise) Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Urban park on the historic Great Western Cattle Trail with a lake, bike path & playground.
What runners say about Prax Orive Jr. (Sunrise) Park
“*Picnic table under a pergola *Playground with swings (under a shaded carp) *Small resaca where there's always ducks, turtles, sometimes geese.”
It's been several years since I started going to this park. It's a small quiet park that has a small resaca and there's always ducks and sometimes geese. Just behind it there's a bike trail and if you follow it across the street there are several stores and restaurants to go eat alone or with family and friends.
I have been going to this park for several years now. This are some things this mini park offers. *Picnic table under a pergola *Playground with swings (under a shaded carp) *Small resaca where there's always ducks, turtles, sometimes geese. *Walking/Bike trail goes through around.
I have gone here since I was a kid. It only has gotten better throughout the years. It is a good place to walk through with kids and/or pets. It is a good place to put your feet up and relax as well.
This park is quite nice (: the playground was recently reconstructed by KBB and some other organizations so it looks much better than before. The area is safe and there's a cute little pond next to it. It's a small area, so it's for sure not good for running or walking.
