Well, I'd say it lived up to its name. There's a little picnic table on the hillside 🌳, a place to chill in the grass, waking paths 🚶🏼♂️ (dog friendly 🐶), bike path 🚲.. and a beautiful view. Check out the video I posted capturing it all ! 🎥💫
Beautiful view! Make sure you check this park out at night also. The ride down the hill was fun, but the ride up is kind of scary. The ride is pretty hot and stuffy.
Very nice park! Tons of sights to see and the park is cleaned and maintained well. There are working water fountains and portable bathrooms. This park is great for kids, and adults of all ages. I reccomend bringing a bike with you because it can be a long walk. There are also plenty of trails to explore.
Received wonderful help from the ranger. She gave us helpful directions on which trails to traverse to get down to the Monagahela River. My wife and I are grateful for her assistance.
