Confirmed from Spanish Moss Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Spanish Moss Trail
1-15-23 Near the campground on the northeastern side of the park. The trail is a .5 mile loop, listed as moderate, orange blazes. The trail is in between the campground (bathrooms here) and the overlook (with parking) area.
A very nice trail through the woods. Some uphill and downhill, but not difficult. Perhaps the trail should be renamed to "Old Spanish Moss Trail" as I didn't see any hanging in the trees. From the park's website: "The Spanish Moss trail has been at the park since it opened in 1945.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
