We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Spring Creek Canyon Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Spring Creek Canyon Trail
“A beautiful clear and picturesque creek right along the path, quiet and serene, lush vegetation.”
“It is such a peaceful walk along the stream but unfortunately it gets busy at times so you don't always have the trail to yourself.”
“It was good, very easy trails along side of the stream but there's hunting area.”
I don't fish, but if I did it seems this would be a hotspot. The fly fisherman that frequent are super friendly. This trail is excellent. I love to walk along flowing water. Lots to look at, very peaceful. Never crowded and the trail is very well maintained.
Just a great place to walk, bike, fish, etc. From parking lot to parking lot is about 3.5 miles. You can add on a newer section that goes to Rock Road which a little over a mile. Great for wildlife and Spring flowers.
Beautiful scenery and a nice flat, wide trail. The bugs can be bad here, especially ticks, so make sure to use bug spray!
Ran here 3 times over my one week vacation and I absolutely loved it. A beautiful clear and picturesque creek right along the path, quiet and serene, lush vegetation. Some days had more friendly enthusiasts but it was so peaceful overall.
