Confirmed from Spring Creek Park Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Spring Creek Park Preserve
“Always a peaceful scenic environment with a decent off-road hiking trail.”
Good place to walk if you want to get away from concrete trails. Maybe it wasnt the best time for walking as it was the end of December but the sun was shining and it wasnt hot. I liked shuffling through the leaves. I will go back in the spring when the wildflowers are blooming.
I really like this trail and plan on hiking it a lot more often. - The trail is marked well - It is clean - I encountered 4-6 people on my hour long hike, so not very crowded - A lot of tree cover, which is extra wonderful during the summer - Not too much traffic noise...

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
