Confirmed from Springhill Road Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Springhill Road Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (46 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Beautiful especially in spring time, but be warned: it's steep!”

🌳 shaded & cool 8 mentions

“There was one trail that was lower and shaded and it was very muddy and so we went back and went up the hilly one that was less shaded but not totally open.”

Great mix of gradual and steep inclines. Wouldn’t recommend for a beginner, more moderate. Views are fabulous, trail is well paved and it’s not too heavily trafficked which is always nice.

There are multiple trails. Yet explore more. Its really refreshing to walk here

Trail is pretty steep but you will see great views! Not that much shade so probably not the best on an extremely hot day. There’s a restroom at the entrance and 6-8 parking spots available.

Coming from WA state, the landscape here was pretty new to me,and I really enjoyed it. It was constantly either going up or going down but it was a really nice hike, and really quiet! 👌

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
