Confirmed from St. Patrick's County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

St Patrick's Park is a wonderful place to enjoy with the family and friends. It has a wonderful selection of trails that go into Michigan and throughout the trail that's in Indiana.

★★★★★ — Stevied , May 2026

An absolutely beautiful place on the Indiana, Michigan border. There are countless walking and hiking trails, many of them alongside the river. There are volleyball courts, picnic areas, places to fish with easy river access. There are conventional playground areas for kids, as well as a natural playground.

From rustic barns to riverside trails, and the river ramble play area (very unique, hands on park for adults and kids alike to hang out and explore!), St Pat’s County Park has something fun for everyone!!

This was the second hike of the day also in Indiana at the St. Patrick’s Park which runs along the St Joseph River. It is also part of the #chikamingopenlands #10trail challenge.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
