It was busy for being such a new trail but thats expected. There were people exercising (running the steps repeatedly), and it connects to the BST. So there are options to carry on further than the .46 miles to the top of the 259 steps.
Cool stairs up to trails. Trail is pretty steep and technical in parts. Exposed to sun but muddy on presidents day. Nice views up top and a few cool big rocks and other photo ops. Lots of Cactus so watch your step
New stairs over 200 of them beautiful views I would do this trail again , just get there early the later you go the more people you will encounter !!!!
Great hike at the top of the stairs. WATCH OUT for rattlesnakes!!! We saw 2 different ones on our hike, decent sized.
