Confirmed from Stan's Overlook's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking and mountain biking area with a viewpoint and picnic tables.
What runners say about Stan's Overlook
“Excellent lookout, picnic table and two benches with a great view.”
“Nice, lush green, shaded trail in the Rattlesnake Mountain area.”
Went on a rainy day. Couldn't see past the fig. Great little hike nonetheless. Trail wasn't overly busy but the parking lot was almost full at about 1100.
A little bit more than an hour hiking from parking lot. The trial is kind of flat and pretty easy.
Not much of an overlook our grand views like you get from Rattlesnake Ledge or Little Si but the hike is really nice and usually much quieter with less people. There is a separate biking trail from the hiking one also talking you up to the overlook which is really nice!
Good hike. Lots of elevation. We continued on to Prospector Point where we found snow!!! Had a blast. Tons of bikers and dogs! Only friendly people welcome 😂
