Confirmed from Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve with a centre offering live and stuffed displays of local wildlife.

Stop in when visiting the park for bonus fun. Walk the trails and see the effects from the glacier receding with signs describing the effects on the landscapes
Our school has been taking students on field trips to the nature center for a few years now and we’ve had an amazing experience every time! My colleagues and I love this field trip for the ease of scheduling and programs that fit our needs and the students and their families really enjoy the experience of the nature…
November 2024 - we came here with our pack to walk a trail. After this some of us stayed to go inside. This is a very neat building. They have some interesting things to see. Events they have coming up and the staff was wonderful to talk to. Worth checking out and they do have bathrooms.
Great educational experience for young kids to learn about nature and all the animals living around. Definitely should take the hike. Was beautiful in the fall. There's so much to do here at stoney for the kids beautiful a stop worth making.
