We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sunlight Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sunlight Trailhead
If you have a dog this is the place to go! We saw tons of other people walking their dogs as well us! The signs say that you need to keep your pup leashed or under your control but there were a ton of folks who didn't leash theirs and it was very challenging for us to keep our veey young dog under control while on…
A fall crisp afternoon walk with the sun shining so brightly warmed my tattered soul on this glorious mountain as my pup Herbie & I walked with intention smiling with gratefulness for Universe to have guided us right here. Thank you Missoula for the lovely mountain trails all around~
Beautiful open walk with lots of wildflowers, butterflies, and rolling hillside views for miles.
