Confirmed from Sunrise Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Sunrise Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (99 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“This was a very beautiful park and I would highly recommend people taking their families here.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Great place for all ages!”

Beautiful walking trails surround a nice sized park area and baseball diamond. The park has a unique toddler area with appropriate sized slides and tunnels for the younger kids. This park also features a larger play area for older children and two sets of swings.

I would say this is a great park with bike, running or walking path. It has soccer or baseball field too. We love it here because it is not usually crowded.

★★★★★ — Tei , Feb 2017

Great local park for our kids to walk to and play! I wish they would finish it and redo the ball field though!

★★★★★ — C. , Sep 2017

Well Kept. Whoever mows in the summer does a fantastic job. The walking path is very nice and I also see many families using the playground area so I presume those apparatus are well-kept too. In short, a nice Kenosha City Park. 4/23 currently NO bathroom nor is there any pavilion

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 4 mentions

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
