Confirmed from Sunset Vista Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular outdoor area featuring trails for hiking and biking, plus wetlands, vistas and sunsets.
What runners say about Sunset Vista Natural Area
“There is convenient Loveland recreation trail side parking and two clean bathrooms.”
“Beautiful natural wetlands area located at the base ( 2 miles away) of the north front range foot hill ridge.”
This natural area has a lot to offer. There is convenient Loveland recreation trail side parking and two clean bathrooms. The nature area is pretty hot and dusty so it might be best first thing in the morning or late in the evening.
This is a gateway to trails both both north to Fort Collins and South/West deeper into Loveland. It is my favorite place to meet for e-biking because of the variety of trails. There is easy access off of 57th street. It is complete with plenty of free parking and restrooms.
What a beautiful area! Great trails for walking, hiking and riding. Beautiful scenery, bridges, permanent restrooms during the warm season, ample parking, pretty quiet overall with just a slight bit of road noise. Enjoy!
Wanted a quick evening walk with my dog that we hadn’t been on before. It was perfectly that. ☀️
