Confirmed from Supplee Lane Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Supplee Lane Recreation Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (94 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“I Love the quiet essence here, where everything is in its rightful place.”

My local park with 2 play structures - one for 2-5 year olds and one for 6-9 year olds. Four swings, 2 for little ones and 2 for older kids. Two pavillions next to the play ground and running water restrooms located between the playground and the tennis courts.

Lovely park. Playground is decent, doesnt drain well when it rains. Plenty of open space, soccer, baseball and football fields are there. Drive down the creepy looking road to find a boat release, another park, trails and some places to cook out, lock up a small raft/boat and the damn reservoir.

This is a private park and boat launch that is managed by WSSC. I had to get a permit online ($5 for a day pass) before launching my kayak. Police will check for your permit. I did an 8 mile trip up to Highway 29 and back. It was glorious!

10/26/25 past peak fall foliage, but still pretty. Water level is very low. Found tangled fishing line on the bank.... Didn't be that person when there is a place to put it near the parking lot. Two full sized porta potties, some picnic tables, dirt trails, and a place to lock up to your kayaks.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
