Confirmed from High Ridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about High Ridge Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (242 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“This park is kept very clean and the play area is cushioned with some sort of cushion material.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“Beautiful park in a quiet, secluded area.”

Great place for a run, with paved paths and lots to do for kids! Basketball court, tennis court, playground, picnic tables, and restrooms.

★★★★★ — Sean , Mar 2019

This park is pristine such a rare find. I had to contemplate whether to leave a review so it can be my little secret. Tennis and a basketball court available. A small jungle gym for the kids on soft rubber playground mat. There seems to be a trail not entirely sure. Dogs allowed as long as you clean up after them 😉.

A little worn. The matting was torn in a few places, but overall a great park! And no one else was there so we had the place to ourselves. Plus we found this cool gazebo down the trail a bit!

★★★★☆ — Sabrina , Jan 2022

Small park with a gate that closes at 6 so you don't get much time after work. The trails are only about a half mile on the outer loop.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 10 mentions

“There's also a tennis court, basketball court, paths to walk on, and public restrooms.”
