Confirmed from Tallmadge Meadows Area Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Tallmadge Meadows Area Metropark
“Bathrooms are usually clean even if they may have a strong odor on the outside.”
There are two trails here. One is called the loop and is a multipurpose trail meaning it is flat and paved (mileage is 0.35). The other is called Meadow (mileage is 2.0). There are drinking fountain here, bathroom facilities, benches, picnic tables, and a shelter.
Family friendly park, kids can enjoy their hiking. I was relaxed as I usually get anxious of slippery and an even ground. My 1 year old enjoyed her time running and walking around.
This is a great place to walk. You can do the loop several times to get your heart rate up or you can do the trails in the woods. Lots of wildflowers in the summer & fall so the wildlife is plentiful. Bathrooms are usually clean even if they may have a strong odor on the outside. Pavilion is small but in a good spot.
Nice park surrounded by a wetland, there are two loop trails. Trails are pretty clean too!

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
