I am not entirely sure what Lions does other than offer parks. With that said, I Have gotten the pleasure to experience multiple of their parks in my local area since i was a child. They have always stood out with excellence even amongst Metro and State parks.
Lions park is feature to many things of which I find daunting. I remember the last great day that I had here, as the end of school party was held here. I climbed a tree there. Sometimes I still do climb that tree, as it is a very pretty park. Has a lot for everyone.

Great place to run from, full bathroom and water fountain by the ball field! There's about 2-3 miles of shade on the freedom trail going left from the parking lot, going right there is notably less shade. There's also ditches to cool off in, if you have running friends into that sort of thing, which I do
