Confirmed from Tallmadge Meadows Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a meadow and woods, plus picnic facilities, grills, a public restroom, and walking paths.
What runners say about Tallmadge Meadows Park
“The grounds were well maintained, the picnic area was free from debris and there was plenty of toilet paper in the bathrooms.”
“One trail is a half mile loop around a beautiful meadow, the other is a two mile loop that winds through some woods before taking a longer route around the meadow.”
“Beautiful park, nice walking paths and so nice and peaceful.”
“The park is dog friendly, contains two pavilions and a bathroom.”
Beautiful spot for a quick walk or a longer hike. You can stay on the paved loop or go onto the unpaved trail for a longer walk. You can also hike into the woods but it's buggier than the loops through the meadow. Lots of pretty views at sunset & lots of birds to keep you company as you walk.
It's always a pleasant walk with a good mix of wood and meadow trails. The trails are maintained well. Very pretty in the meadow.
This Tallmadge Meadows Park is an awesome place to enjoy the outdoors in a nice brisk walk. One of our very favorite places to come to. There are plenty of places to set up a picnic lunch or dinner and plenty of Trail. I clocked the full loop at 2.
Pleasantly surprised the trail was 2+ miles long! Well maintained trail. Half of it was paved. I took my dog, and I was so pleased he didn't get muddy. (He did, however, pick up a tick on the trail.
Trail conditions & character
“A little disappointed with other park patrons during our last visit, as it seems the latest trend is to bag your dog poop and leave it in piles around the trail.”
“One trail is a half mile loop around a beautiful meadow, the other is a two mile loop that winds through some woods before taking a longer route around the meadow.”

“) Bathrooms are available -- no running water to flush the toilets and no sinks to wash your hands, but there was toilet paper and hand sanitizer.”
“There is a paved/natural meadow trail that is easy in difficulty however there is no shade.”
“Beautiful park, nice walking paths and so nice and peaceful.”
“It's the perfect length for my senior Newfoundland and extra bonus being paved it doesn't get muddy!”
