Confirmed from Tamarisk Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation spot with amenities such as a playground, basketball court, and baseball field.
What runners say about Tamarisk Park
“Biggest advantage is a clean bathrooms just in case when the kids need it.”
“Tamarisk is beautiful with a large sports field, big playground with swings and slides, easy dirt track, and smaller picnic area.”
Great medium size park to walk at or many other activities to do here. Sometimes it gets a little over crowded.
Beautiful park in Lake Forest. Would bring camping chairs and umbrellas for comfortable sitting on hot summer days. Excellent park for playing soccer, baseball and basketball. Good park for scooters or walking circles. The community has a small rock garden that could use a few adds to the collection. We did!
Tamarisk is beautiful with a large sports field, big playground with swings and slides, easy dirt track, and smaller picnic area. There are two bathrooms, too, though they have not always been stocked well (at least in the last few months).
Great place to hangout, go for walks, bring your dog or kids. It's a beautiful look out spot to watch the sunset and see the city below. There are new houses there so I'm unsure of the trails that used to be in top of the hill. They might be gone, but the park is still kicking.
