Confirmed from Serrano Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This long, tree-filled park features a playground & a shelter, plus walking paths & restrooms.
What runners say about Serrano Creek Park
“The park was absolutely wonderful the playgrounds are very nice to play in and creek was beautiful.”
“Shade, running water, paved and unpaved paths, a place to walk dogs or bike, and lots of birds.”
“The park itself is lengthy , visible and ample street parking quiet but well visited.”
“Great place for an easy walk with interesting scenery.”
Abundant with majestic Eucalyptus trees, this place makes for a good escape on a sunny day. Maintained concrete walking path that loops around the park and playground, which conveniently has a gazebo large enough for a few picnic tables.
Really nice place for a walk or an easy mountain bike ride. I had a good time today with the dog. Will definitely be back and may use this trail as a quick Mtn. bike workout to stay in biking shape. Flowers are currently bloomed on the creek side.
Serrano Creek Park is not large but quite pleasant, with paved and unpaved trails winding among tall Eucalyptus trees. I saw several families with small children, couples and even a horse. There is a stable at one end where I believe people can keep horses.
Love this park! I've brought several people here. There are several walking paths, oth paved and dirt. A creek (stormwater channel) runs through the length of the park, and the running water adds to the natural beauty. I've nicknamed this Pony Park because of the horse stables and corrals at one end of the park.
Trail conditions & character
“There’s a restroom next to the playground, but most of the time it’s a mess in there and I didn’t want to share a photo of that!”
“The park is also right next to Heritage Hill historic park, which has restored buildings and other historical artifacts and gardens, some dating back to the mid-to late 1800's.”
“There is one wide concrete walkway running the length of the park and a few smaller ones that take you into the heart of the eucalyptus tree forest.”
“Shade, running water, paved and unpaved paths, a place to walk dogs or bike, and lots of birds.”
“5 mile trail loop that swings around a neighborhood shopping center if you need a refreshment or bite to eat.”
“But most of the time you can expect to share the park with a few other walkers, with or without dogs, and some bicyclists.”
“Public restroom, handicap friendly, street parking -35mph zone, (25mph when elementary school is operational).”
“The park itself is lengthy , visible and ample street parking quiet but well visited.”
“It's a mostly flat, multiuse trail for walkers, joggers, bikers, and even equestrians.”
“Only thing missing would be the water stations or bathrooms.”
