UPDATE: 7/18/2022 The parks service under the direction of our current rep are pushing to destroy this path, under the guise of building a 12 foot road to move construction materials through. They say it is to shore up the area for salmon, but they would remove all of this old growth.
This is a very nice trail deep in the woods with a great sense of peace and nature. I visited during an early morning and really enjoyed it.There are a few not-so-steep stairs and a couple of wooden bridges so it's a pretty moderate short hike.
This is such a scenic nature trail! Very enjoyable short walk. Also the variety of fungi here are plentiful!
Good for a short trail right in the middle of the crowded Lakeridge neighborhood. Has couple of wood bridges to explore, a small stream running along. Nothing to complain except the parking place is wet and muddy
